Solusi email murah Hmail + Squirremail

Buat yang pengen bangun email server gratisan di Windows mungkin artikel ini bisa berguna "murah meriah" sori di sini saya hanya configure secara minim aja alias default
untuk yg lebih expert monggo di explore sendiri :)
komponen utama yaitu hmail server

karena squirrelmail base on php jadi kita memerlukan apache + php selain itu hmailserver membutuhkan mysql utnuk menyimpan data jadi lebih mudahnya pake XAMPP lengkap satu paket

1. XAMPP
pertama install XAMPP terlebih dahulu, sampai muncul control panel xampp dan semua perangkat running
jutnya cek php dan mysql berjalan normal atau tidak? buka ie ketika http://localhost/ pastikan tampilan seperti di bawah
selanjutnya untuk mengecek mysl udah berjalan juga atau belum? klik PhpMyAdmin di menu seblah kiri jika tampilan seperti di bawah berarti ok
2. Hmail Server
selanjutnya inst alasi Hamil server setelah selesai buka HmailServerAdministration Start - Programs - Hmailserver - HmailServer Administration
akan muncul gambar seperti di atas kemudian klik connect, muncul kotak password isikan password hmail server sama seperti pada saat menginstall HmailServer
untuk menambahkan domainya klik tombol add
untuk menambahkan user/ email klik add account
isikan account address password dan tetek bengeknya :)
Oh ya selain lewat hmailserver administration(desktop) Hmail juga menyediakan administrasi lewat web, caranya copy folder PhpWebAdmin pada direktori instalasi Hmail server "c:\Program Files\Hmailserver" ke directori instalasi XAMP
"c:\Program Files\xampp\httdocs\" untuk menjalankan buka ie ketik "htttp:\\localhost\PhpWebAdmin\" sebelumnya edit file "config-dist.php" menjadi "config.php" pada "c:/Program Files/xampp/httdocs/PhpWebAdmin/" kemudian buka file "config.php" edit bagian "CHANGE-ME" ( di find biar cepet)
rootpath = "c:/Program Files/xampp/httdocs/PhpWebAdmin/"
rooturl = "htttp://localhost/PhpWebAdmin/" kemudian masukan username dan passwordnya
di PhpWebAdmin tidak bisa login dengan administrator seperti di desktop(Hmail administration) jadi untuk menjadikan user agar bisa mempunyai previlegde, edit user yang sudah ada kemudia rubah administration level ke server
sebelum menginstall SquirrelMail lakukan "Database Setup" HmailServer untuk membuat
abel2 yg di butuhkan HmailServer di mysqlnya dengan
Start - Programs - hMailServer -pilih "hMailServer Datadase Setup" masukanservernya "localhost" portnya default 3306 user "root" pass kosong jika default
3. SquirrelMail
Selanjutnya instalasi Squirrelmail server setelah download extraxt file .zipnya kemudian copy ke "c:\Program Files\xampp\httdocs\" root directory rename folder squirrelmail menjadi "squirrelmail" selanjutnya coba login ketikan "http:\\localhost\squirrelmail\" sebelumnya rename dulu file config_default.php menjadi config.php
di "c:\\Program files\xampp\httdocs\squirrelmail\config\" file konfigurasi untuk squirrelmail jika file tersebut lupa belu di rename akan muncul
"ERROR: Config file "config/config.php" not found. you need to configure SquirrelMail before you can use it"
Masukan user yg telah di buat misal
Name = admin
Password = admin
jika muncul "Unknown user or password incorrect" berarti user belum ada jika memang user sudah ada tetapi tetap muncul error diatas coba ketikan lengkap dengam domainya
Name = admin@zoldeck.com
Password = admin
alasan pastinya kurang tau kenapa Hmail server kadang suka manja gitu :)
dan jika muncul error seperti ini
edit file config.php pada directory
"c:\\Program files\xampp\httdocs\squirrelmail\config\"
$data_dir = "/var/local/squirrelmail/data/" menjadi
$data_dir = "../data/"
error ini terjadi karena path data mail sqirrelmail salah menunjuk, sepertinya default squirrelmail untuk instalasi di linux jadi untuk instalasi di windows perlu sedikit perubahan :) setelah di edit coba kembali login semoga ketemu gambar di bawah hehehhe
sampai di sini proses instalasi install dan setting selesai, selamat beremail ria :D

SquirrelMail untuk koneksi ke server menggunakan IMAP dan SMTP
dan untuk defaultnya mereka men-setting "localhost" jika ingin menginstall
di mesin yg berbeda dengan server setting server IMAP dan SMTP-nya harus di rubah
sesuai IP atau host dimana server email di install.

1. Setelah saya login lewat Squirremail, problem nya yaitu: terima email dari mana saja bisa, tapi ketika kirim/reply email di luar domain mail server saya (ardi.jetcoms.net.id) tidak bisa.
Contoh nya send email ke account email di yahoo.com atau ke mana saja, selalu tidak bisa.
Mohon bantuan nya.
